How We Review

Last updated: 5 November 2026

1. Reviews, Comparisons and Ratings

Our store pages and ratings are intended to help users find and compare the coupon codes, deals and offers available for selected merchants. Unless expressly stated, our coverage does not necessarily include every merchant, product or offer available in the market.

We maintain commercial relationships with some of the merchants featured on this Site and may receive compensation when users interact with them through our links. These commercial relationships may be taken into account when determining which merchants are featured and their placement or prominence on the Site. However, the ratings presented on the Site reflect our own assessment based on the information available to us and the criteria described below.

Rankings and ratings are intended to provide a general comparative opinion and should not be interpreted as an objective or definitive assessment that one merchant, product or service is necessarily better than another, or as a guarantee that it will be suitable for any particular user.

Commercial arrangements, products, prices, features, terms and the information available to us may change over time. Users should therefore conduct their own research, consider their individual requirements and verify material information directly with the relevant merchant before making a purchase, registration or other decision.

2. Where Our Information Comes From

Coupon codes, deals, start and end dates, descriptions and terms are provided by the merchants themselves, directly or through affiliate networks and data providers we work with (including FlexOffers, Admitad and our coupon data provider). Product offers and prices come from the product feeds of our partners (Shopping24 and Kelkoo) and, on Amazon product pages, from Amazon.

We update this information automatically every day. We do not test coupon codes or buy the products ourselves, and we cannot guarantee that every code or offer will be valid or available when you try to use it. While we aim to keep information current and useful, we cannot guarantee that all information will remain complete, accurate or up to date at all times. Expired offers are removed from store pages once their end date has passed.

3. How “Our Rating” Is Calculated

The “Our rating” score shown on a store page is Couponous's own assessment of how well that merchant's offers are currently covered on Couponous. It is not a review of the merchant, its products or its service, and it is not based on customer reviews. It is calculated automatically, using the same criteria for every merchant, from the offers listed on the page at the time it is shown:

The maximum score is 5.0. Merchants with no current coupon codes or deals are not rated. The rating changes automatically when the offers listed for the merchant change. Commercial relationships with a merchant do not affect its rating.

4. Customer Ratings Shown From Third Parties

We do not collect or publish our own customer reviews. Where a page shows customer ratings for a product (for example, Amazon customer ratings on our Amazon product pages), the rating and the number of ratings are shown as provided by that third party at the time the page was last updated. We do not edit, select or moderate those ratings, and they may have changed since. Please check the current ratings on the third party's own website.

5. Coupons and Deals

Offers, discount codes, prices, availability and promotional terms are provided by or obtained from third parties and may change, expire, be withdrawn or be subject to eligibility requirements and exclusions without notice. Please verify the final price, availability, eligibility requirements, exclusions, expiry dates and other applicable terms directly with the merchant before completing a transaction. See also our Affiliate Disclosure & Disclaimer.

Our ratings and store pages represent comparative assessments and are not guarantees, recommendations tailored to individual circumstances, or assurances that a particular merchant or offer will be suitable for every user.

If you believe information on this Site is inaccurate or outdated, or a deal has expired, please let us know via our Contact page.
